07:00 · Barn rotation

Every student starts the day with horses. Feeding, turnout, observation logs. Before any academics happen, your son or daughter has already spent an hour with an animal that requires her full attention, her physical presence, and her ability to read something that does not use words. That is not busywork. That is the most sophisticated cognitive and emotional training a teenager can do.

English, mathematics, science, history. Full college-prep rigor. The same courses that satisfy UC a-g requirements and CTE pathways. But the context is different here. She just spent two hours in the barn. Her nervous system is settled. Her focus is genuine. The research on this is consistent: the morning physical and animal interaction changes the quality of learning that follows.

12:30 · Track seminar

This is where EACPA is different from any school I have seen. Students go deep into one of five professional tracks: veterinary medicine and equine biology, equine business and management, equine law and ethics, reproduction and genetics, or biotechnology in sport. These are not electives. These are career pathways taught by faculty with master's degrees and PhDs who have worked in these industries.

14:00 · Riding instruction & barn skills

Training under saddle, horsemanship, Equine Stewardship, conditioning. This is not separated from the academics. It is integrated with them. The biomechanics your daughter learns in sports science, she applies in the afternoon lesson. The anatomy she studied in the morning, she can feel in the saddle.

16:30 · Independent study & wellness

Tutoring and a wellness check-in. The AI platform schedules personalized review based on what the teacher's dashboard showed that day. A student who was struggling with a concept in the morning gets a targeted session in the afternoon. No one falls through the cracks.

And when she is at a horse show on Thursday and Friday? The platform follows her. The school follows the rider, not the other way around.
