The founder

My competitive and training career has spanned the highest levels of equestrian sport, including extensive work on the Hunter Jumper 'A' circuit under Olympian Peter Breakwell and international development with Olympian Miguel Leal. My true mastery, though, lies in development. For decades I have specialized in guiding young athletes and young horses from their first foundational steps to national recognition. By pairing a deep understanding of youth development with a patient, respectful approach to the equine partner, my programs have consistently produced Grand Champion horses and shaped sensitive young prospects into elite competitors. That same methodology has guided my students to prestigious Grand Championships and collegiate scholarship offers.

I was born in Palos Verdes Estates and began riding at eight. After three decades in the saddle, 350 horses, and 20 years of teaching, I recognized the pattern: brilliant students mismatched to a system that never saw them. So I built a solution. For Them.

In 2025, I stopped waiting. I filed for 501(c)(3) status, secured a real estate option in Penn Valley, built 27 courses across five professional tracks, and put 345 families on a waitlist. I opened the doors before I had permission to believe it.

Mission & core values

Where academic excellence meets equestrian passion.

EACPA ignites a lifelong passion for learning by building the academic life around the equestrian lifestyle. Students grow in knowledge, confidence, and purpose through the bond between rider and horse. A bond no classroom can replicate.

01

Trust & respect

The foundation of every relationship. Peer, family, equine partner.

02

Rigor

M.S./Ph.D. faculty. National accreditation in progress. No shortcuts.

03

Bond

Human-animal connection as a vehicle for cognitive and emotional growth.

04

Amplification

AI as a force multiplier for teachers. Not a replacement.

05

Stewardship

Of horses, of students, of capital. Long-term thinking, generational outcomes.

06

Industry readiness

Every graduate leaves with a credential the equine industry recognizes.

Board of directors

The people carrying fiduciary responsibility.

A five-director board governs EACPA's mission, capital, and accreditation pathway.
